Charity isn’t about pity, it is about LOVE - Mother Teresa. Much gratitude to our friends at Japan Tobacco International - Juliana Mohd Yahaya (General Manager) & Shaiful Bahari (Director of Corporate Affairs & Communications) for sending us new wheels for our journey to/from the maternity wards.

Welcoming our friends for the past 5 years. So happy to see Sammi, Chief Monk and our Buddhist temple friends from Wat Ji Gong Yu Fo Si again! “Hello Wendy, we will come visit Suraya and Rumah Kita at 11.30am. Please send me a list ya. Thanks!”

“Tack så mycket” - In Swedish, this means “thank you very much” Terima Kasih for making the time to gather funds, measure, select and install new IKEA cabinets for our dry kitchen. Truly grateful for your support. “The Swedish Women's Educational Association, referred to as SWEA is a global non-profit organization and a network for Swedish and Swedish-speaking women who reside or have resided outside of Sweden.

As per our late founder Vimmi’s request for 2019, our dear kind friends from Wellous Malaysia have made her dream come true tonight. Keys to our new Alza has been collected by Vimmi's sister Suraya. Thank you also to donors to have topped up the extra cash to make it happen.

Dr. P Lingham (owner of Mediviron Jalan Gasing & Vida Senior Care) has volunteered and assisted in administering vaccines and providing care to our children since 2018.

Our volunteer Dr. Bek from BEK Acupuncture & Healthcare Sdn. Bhd successfully helped our OKU Baby Orked since 2019 with her mobility issues. We are all hoping that Baby Jebat too will have a positive outcome in the near future (after being diagnosed with developmental issues with his eyes, ears & brain).

Åsa is a physiotherapist from Sweden. Thank you for extending your help and doing some evaluation on Baby Jebat.

A group of anonymous donors gave Rumah Kita shopping vouchers for the mummies and kiddies Raya shoes. We head to Sunway Velocity excitedly for shoe shopping!

Thank you so much to donors Agrain by HALE and her generous friends for our new awning. Rumah Kita’s outdoor area is now sheltered from the rain and sun! More play area for our babies!

Art classes hosted by our volunteers!

A visit from Epsom College with Head of Prep School Mr. Stephen McElhinney and his group of students, staff & parents. Thank you also to Mummy Esther for organizing the 2018 Christmas Fundraising for Rumah Kita as well as generous donation.

Mr. Wang - our favourite and most loyal logistics volunteer. He regularly donates his time and energy to help out with ad-hock projects and transportation needs.

Introducing Abah JS, our regular Sunday volunteer. Shaving a baby's head is not a required act in Islam but it is the Sunnah to shave a baby’s head on the seventh day, weigh the hair and then offer charity according to the weight of it in silver. It’s a nice tradition and this along with their Akikah are the first acts of charity offered in the baby’s name to his/her community.”

Thank you to our contributor Ashley Tan of Steam & Sanitize. We are so grateful for the super friendly and hygienic services to clean our houses and mattresses.
